I’ve always forwarded my ports in this way, and it’s always worked. But now, for some reason, uTorrent says the ports aren’t forwarded, and my download speed is reduced to 30kb/s on a 4MB connection.

Help please.

If you have Utorrent set to load on boot, close it, wat 10 secs, reopen it, mine does same. Not sure why, mind you I can still flood my connection with it on yellow.

I often download (legally, non-copyrighted) movies using uTorrent. I also have a movie converter called Videora iPod Touch Converter. I often leave these downloads going overnight, as was wondering if it was possible to, after the download was finished, automatically add to the queue for the converter. It would save me a lot of time. Any help greatly appreciated.

unless you can write a program like that yourself, no. no it’s not. sorry :/

Edit: you MIGHT be able to do it with an autoclicker program, if you set it up right. probably not though.

I downloaded PS2 game on utorrent and then I shut down the computer and when I opened it again I resumed the download, does it damages the files that I downloaded?

I was unistaling Utorrent and it asked me to chose a program to open the .exe file.I choose Utorrent and after it unistall, all the .exe programs had the Utorrent logo.And now I cant open the .exe files..

My uTorrent keeps losing my saved settings once I have restarted my PC. Everytime I restart my PC, I have to go back into uTorrent options and resave all of my preference settings again. Does anyone know why this keeps happening? How do I fix this?

In settings, there is a box for reset at start-up, uncheck that.

I am on the school Mac and the library caught wind of my use of utorrent. They made it so that the utorrent quits working and disappears after a few moments. It must then be downloaded and installed again. What did they do and how do I undo it?

After my brother downloaded some songs from utorrent, our internet is almost unusable now. It’s worse than dial up. I did a scan, but it didn’t find anything.

You have to click on website links at least 3 times for them to even try to load up.

It always sais that something is loading, and the loading symbol next to the cursor is always there. It never finishes.

Pictures rarely load up anymore.

Why has this happened?

I’m hoping your an admin on your computer, access task manager and see which process is taking up your processor. If you trace the file location and its not of windows or anything, disconnect for the internet and wipe it. Just realize that your computer is infected and the site or program your brother got his music from will be where your problem is. FYI most torrents are illegal lol.

If that doesn’t work, research all the processes your computer is running. You’ll find some that people turn off.

Edit: Or, go to my computer and right click on the C drive (OS) and go to tools. Click check disk for errors and click it. You’ll get two boxes. Click them both. Restart your computer and let it run. May take a few hours. Run a defrag when its done, wait a few more hours lol.

I’m a total loser when it comes to technology.
This is my very first (yep, very first) torrent download.
I downloaded Utorrent to download my torrent file, and after hours it has finally completed downloading. However, when I go open the file it won’t open. It’s an mp4 file. Every time I try opening it, a box pops up saying that Windows doesn’t recognize the program that created it.
I’m totally confused.
Help please?

Chances are it’s either not actually an mp4 file, and it’s a virus disguised at one… or you’re not using the right viewer (windows media player does not play mp4s).

Try opening it in Quicktime or VLC media player.

First thing to do though, is scan it for viruses.
