pzero: Should I leave utorrent downloading overnight and defraggler defragmenting my hard drive at the same time?
utorrent – downloading some torrents as usual.
defraggler – a very nice defragmenting program from Pirisoft.

Now, utorrent is continuously writing the data it downloads on my hdd and defraggler is defragmenting it at the same time.

Do you think it’s ok or not?

I don’t think it will cause a problem, but it will probably cause the defragmenting to not be as complete as it would have been. This is because the downloading is causing files to be created, but defraggler has to leave them alone and can’t move them.

I have a portable hard drive and I have utorrent files that I would like to move to my portable hard drive.

If this is possible, can someone please tell me how to do this. I have tried over and over the drag and drop scenario but it doesn’t work.

Is there another way.

Put them all in a folder, and then ‘cut’ the folder and ‘paste’ it onto your external. If this doesn’t work, then try highlighting all the files, cutting them , and then pasting them onto the external. If that doesn’t work, then reformat your external to NTFS, as I had a problem with saving uTorrent files on a FAT drive.

My friend downloaded a program called uTorrent (the u is actually a Greek symbol) and I cant’t delete it. When I click the name in Programs the name is there but there is no uninstall option. When I go to Control Pane’s Uninstall Programs it isn’t listed. PLEASE tell me how to uninstall this program and prevent it from causing problems, or returning.
